      I've boycotted this company for years due to crappy cooling fans that broke on 2 of the 2 units I owned.

      Interesting. I went with them specifically for the step-up program since I knew the 1080 was coming out soon. I haven't had any issues with my 980ti, but it's only been a couple months. Hopefully it won't be an issue
