Transistor is pretty awesome. Did you ever play Bastion? It's similar, except you can plan your turns out and execute them in advance, until you run out of energy (like VATS from Fallout 3)

I actually decided to start with Bastion.. and then I'll play Transistor afterwards.

Pick up some kind of small hobby, like cross stitch or plastic canvas. I always find them very relaxing, even when I make a mistake.
