Dropped puppy at the Vet this morning. He'll be coming home ball-less. Yesterday, he was pulling tricks somehow getting out of our yard and into the neighbor's (also fully fenced). Hoping this helps keep him close to home.

I don't write it, but I do help with research and editing. Yes, we got it done at about 2AM. All he had to do today was type up the conclusion.

Helping him is an investment in our future. That's how I see it, anyway. I may not like it all the time but the fact that he has multiple job offers and is still a year out from graduation is proof enough we're doing it right.

How true is Fera's update ... we just got home from the ER at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Been a day long ordeal getting a piece of a plastic toy removed from baby Leo's lungs ... Home and settling down for the night, finally. All is well ...

Yes, he's very well. He was playing out of sight behind a chair with the puppy when Shane heard him coughing and choking. Swept his mouth and found nothing but he was wheezing. Took him to ER and they transported him to the children's hospital. He never stopped breathing or lost consciousness but it was lodged quite well it had to come out. He was in OR for about 20 minutes and woke up ready to get the heck home! All in all it was about 12 hours start to finish. Exhausting.

What's strange to me is that mend was on the map with DI (very good WvW guild) and another guild that I can't recall, as well as some militia. The idea that they were grossly outnumbered is blatantly false. I am sure their were fights where we did have numbers on them, however that was not map wide. They simply were not communicating with one another and matching the coordination level that we were using. I see that as no fault of ours, the fact that they failed to work as a cohesive...
