Kinda both. The bad news is that I won't be out of the house every day and the girls won't be in daycare. The good news is that we'll actually have more money.

Girls had a Halloween party at daycare today so they wore their costumes. Mouse went around this morning saying "It's Halloween. I get treats!" lol

Made brownies last night for the girls to take to daycare for Bunny's birthday and the little boogers ate them all.

I got my name in the paper for being the adult who read the most in my library's summer reading program.

Gonna take the girls to the fair to look at the animals. Gotta see if Mouse is still terrified of the pigs.

I wish people who leave voice mail messages that something's "really important" would either tell you in the voice mail what's up or answer the phone when you call back.

8 students helped in 4 hours, a new record for me, plus two one on one sessions to make 10 students in 4 and a half hours

She was 16 years old and had diabetes. Add to that her person being gone, new people taking care of her, and a lot of extra noise. I think just the amount of changes, along with her age and illness, finally overwhelmed her and she couldn't cope anymore. She actually belonged to the aunt of a friend, and for various reasons Mork and I were taking care of her.

5 day weekend from the elementary school job!

Mork and Mouse went to the store to get dinner. When they got home Mouse came and handed me a rose. Isn't that sweet?

Just about 2 years ago I get told that if I'm a part time employee and I work for the company for 2 years I qualify for tuition reimbursement, which basically means free school. Now that I'm "eligible" for that I'm told that because I'm "only" a tutor and part time I don't qualify.

My supervisor is looking into the issue because the Employee Handbook says nothing about part time employees but there were several tutors who were told we would be able to do what I tried to do. And she thinks there is one tutor who is already doing what I tried to do and that person is definitely not full time. On the flip side, I've got an evaluation coming up and she told me she's going to put in for a raise for me. So nothing bad without some good.

School is in limbo until the Financial Aid people figure out that yes I've worked for the company for just over 2 years and thus qualify for the tuition waver.
