    Zoe tested negative for Toxoplasma so there's no definitive reason for her seizures and high fever. She seems fine, but she seemed fine last week and then had 2+ hours worth of seizures. I'm off to the vet right now so they can take her temperature, etc.

      Phenobarb! I have many cats (and dogs) on it. Need to pharmacy shop because it can be cheap at some places but not others, but works REALLY well

      Problem is, we don't know what's causing them, or the high fever. If it were "just" seizures, I'd do the barb straight-away ^^

      My mom is an avid crocheter. I've never owned a comforter because I'm always stocked in afghans. If you hit a snag, I can pass along her e-mail for pointers!

    No seizures today \o/ Zoe is acting almost like a normal kitten. Waiting for UPS lable to send blood sample to a specialist at Colorado State. Still haven't handled flooring :/

    Zoe's fever is still 104. She's anemic and has a bladder/kidney infection. New meds.but no new answers :(

    Just checking in... damp concrete floors and loud fans = unpleasant living environment. This could take another day ro 2 to dry :/ On the upside, kitten seems better.

    Zoe seems worse so another vet visit after bloody mucus sneezes. Another 4 "power shots" later the doc has added one more med to the list :|

      Yeah, it's overcome-able but it has to run its course, which could take a while. She's a bit better today. I think tht last round of shots helped (\o/)

    Vet visit this morning for kitten's cold-in-the-nose. My poor lil baby can't breath w/o blowing bubbles :(

      Zoe okay? :( It's always so sad when they're sick. When Artemis had his Upper respiratory infection, he was sneezing out bloody snot from sneezing so much :( He got an injection and ended up recovering within the week. So hopefully she'll be good

      Zoe got 4 shots today + anti-biotics & antihistamines AND drops for her eyes/nose. I'm spending the evening cuddling her so no GW2 for me tonight.

    I just spent 2 hours w/ my BFF searching for a lost kitten. We searched inside; we searched outside (just in case she escaped). After giving up all hope, I crumbled to my office floor, clutching my other cat when we heard a bump INSIDE my desk. Little Zoe manage to get in the top drawer and fell asleep. I still don't know how she did it!

    My inability to stay connected or use mumble is a problem w/ my ISP. Troubleshooting modem & line tomorrow when Platy is home. Appt w/ Cox tech on Friday. Hopefully I can log on tomorrow /cross fingers

    No complications with my brother's hip-replacement surgery. Yay! (Horrible that he has degenerative arthritis at the age of 48 though :/)
