Darksiders I cannot imagine being playable with kb/mouse, lol. Achievements are super buggy in Darksiders 1 btw Huntyre -- make sure you save often so you can reload before a boss if it didn't give you credit.

* before anything actually -- I remember it didn't even give me credit for 'obtaining the scythe' the first time

You so do! It was a kind of "we're sorry!" to all of us who love the story/characters but were left scratching our heads after the original ending. Even after the extended end, they did this to appease us. Mission accomplished.

That one kicked my bum for a while, too. May have had something to do with the fact that I was also playing on a toaster.

If I remember correctly, that game in general, and that fight in particular was very hard.

I caved and got Witcher 2

I picked up Witcher 2 as well. I hated the first one, but the 2nd is pretty fun so far. Also the game feels so much better with a gamepad instead of a kb/mouse

I'm enjoying Witcher atm.. playing it the same time I'm working my way through ME3 though.

You got to it before me! For me, ME2's gameplay and story lacked a lot of the charm the first one had, so I haven't really had the drive to pick it up.

I bought it awhile back, but it's currently $8 on Origin.

Hrm, $8 sounds like it might be enough drive..

To be honest, I'm kinda surprised at how many things I've backed too.. You do get a lot of in game perks, depending on the studio and level of backing. Out of the 3 I've backed, I'm guessing one of them might make the cut to something I'll play beyond beta.

It's honestly just fun to be a part of it, but yeah you do get some perks/discounts. I actually just got access to Grim Dawn's beta. Very promising and totally worth my initial investment already.

Again, it depends on the title, but with Shroud I don't have to pay for any of the expansions and I get free rent on the house and vendors..which IMO is much huge compared to the old +5 rings you got in collectors editions and used for 2 days.
