I looked at this but I'm on the fence about it. A few reviews mentioned that the game can get boring and repetitive, and that you spend a lot of time waiting and watching time go by on the map. What do you think Hunt?

I should probably time it, but I think the games pacing is fine if you are familiar with turn based games. It's a super light version of a 4X game with XCOM combat/rpg elements.

You so do! It was a kind of "we're sorry!" to all of us who love the story/characters but were left scratching our heads after the original ending. Even after the extended end, they did this to appease us. Mission accomplished.

I really enjoyed last light. It looks incredible and improved upon the gameplay issues that 2033 had. $5 is a steal, but Metro redux is coming out real soon if you plan on getting any metro game at all.

It's a bit of a remake/remastering of their two games. Most of the differences are for 2033, but it still has some more minor changes for last light. I'd say you could get either version of last light and suffice, but I'd get 2033 redux if you're going to play that one.

grateful to have a job, but I'm fairly certain that it's not a mutually good fit for the long term. Just starting to explore other options.
